JOB DESCRIPTION:  The teacher actively instructs students, creates lesson plans, assigns and grades homework, manages students in the classroom, communicates with parents, and successfully prepares for standardized testing. The teacher will focus on adopting a curriculum that is consistent with the expectations of the state and federal government.  The teacher will work closely with other members of the English department to create vertically aligned curriculum and instruction.
